In the 30–60 m³/hr range, 4-bin batching plants are typically designed for compactness and mobility. These plants utilize four separate bins to store different sizes of aggregates (e.g., 10mm, 20mm, sand, and crushed stone).The core of this setup is usually a Pan Mixer or a small Twin Shaft Mixer. Aggregates are weighed in a common gathering conveyor or individual weigh hoppers equipped with high-precision S-type load cells. For vertical transport, a Skip Hoist arrangement is preferred to save ground space. The control system features a PLC-based panel with a SCADA interface, allowing for the storage of multiple recipes. These plants are ideal for medium-sized infrastructure projects like bridge construction or rural road development. They offer a balance between a small footprint and the ability to produce high-quality, consistent concrete mixes.
